In spite of all the loss, there have been positives. We've been forced to reevaluate our priorities and values in life. Many people are spending more time with family and loved ones.

The attack on America has brought a surge in patriotism. Flags fly on businesses, homes, and cars. There is a renewed appreciation for firemen, police, and the military. We are more conscious of those who have sacrificed greatly in the past so that we can live in a free country today.

Seldom have we stood so united and felt so 'proud to be an American.'
