"I live in Columbia SC. I worked in Ottumwa Ia. in 78/79. I met a guy who let me... archery hunt his property. 125 Acres W. of Ottumwa. How could I get so lucky. I didn't know. He said there was a buck with a (rockin chair) ya know. I love to hunt whitetail. So I said OK not knowing what Iowa had to offer to the Southern Hunter. After scouting the property I found my stand. Wind had to be right up the draw. I got in a tree (back then who used portable tree stands. I was cold standing on a limb 10 ft. off the ground draw to my rear left. For some reason I looked left down. All I could see was 12in. of Deer head looking at me! He saw me I SAW HIM 12in's lower. He was BIG. Broken Solitude is my Dream. I am an avid Whitetail Deer hunter here in Indiana.  My mother-in-law gave me a framed print of "Winter Sunrise - Whitetail" as a wonderful Christmas present.  I absolutely love it!  I will never get rid of it or sell it... even if it is worth $10,000!  ...  I will be on the look out for more of Mr. Zach's work to add to my collection.
